Rat-a-tat-tat at my door... who could it be... SMILING sweet faces of children and their parents, what a joyous moment.
The children proceeded to tell me they had a lemonade stand to help me! They were so happy and proud. Peace and gratitude filled my entire body. Thank you to all those sweet children and their parents for their support!
After they left I sat there staring through the tears at my lemonade jar full of love. I have to be honest, there was a piece of myself that felt guilty. My mind was thinking of how many people there are that probably NEED this as well. There have been times in my life that a jar like this would've given my family groceries and some gas for the car... that was badly needed. I look forward to being back to my normal self... when I can PAY IT FORWARD! Hopefully tomorrow will start my NEW NORMAL!!
What a sweet story. You have been "paying it forward" your whole life, and everyone else is just returning the favor right now. But, indeed when you are recovered fully and given the green light, I can only imagine how much more you will influence this world for good. The Lord has blessed you with the ability to Love and Inspire and this incident has given you even more wisdom and appreciation of life. You truly will continue to "pay it forward." Love you!
